Fire Capacity Testing

Fire hydrants are an essential component for fire fighting. When fire departments connect to a hydrant they need to know how much water is available. This capacity is dependent on a number of conditions within the system. The system design flow, valve condition, and restriction due to build up, and tuberculation impact the flow available. B

We provide fire capacity testing. This includes single Hydrant Capacity testing and Main Capacity testing. Testing is completed in alignment with the recommendations outlined in NFPA 291 and AWWA M17. Fire capacity testing is generally required at 5 year intervals.
